Document Description
Construct a new train platform behind the Sacramento Zoo to provide an arrival/departure spot for Sacramento Southern Railroad passengers visiting the zoo. The project will:
Grade and clear the project site of weeds and trim existing bushes;
Excavate approx. 3"-12" and construct a 25'x12' concrete foundation;
Attach a prefabricated 42" tall perimeter guardrail to the foundation with a gate to control passenger loading and unloading; and
Install a new 66' long concrete walkway from the platform to the existing sidewalk for passenger access.
