Document Description
The Proposed Plan recommends excavating accessible soil source areas, in-situ chemical reduction using zero valent iron and in-situ bioremediation of the groundwater contamination to address the constituents of concern, primarily volatile organic compounds. A cover will be installed over backfilled areas that matches the pre-excavation ground surface condition to prevent direct contact with residual COCs in soil concentrations above industrial screening levels and land use controls will be implemented.
