This request is for an amendment to approved Tract Map 1946. Tract Map 1946 was approved by the Shasta County planning commission on Dec 13, 2007 (Planning Commission Resolution no. 2007-150), to subdivide a 121.7-acre site resulting in 23 5-acre lots for single family res use. The applicant is requesting to increase the number of lots from 23-36 for lots averaging 3-acres in size. Main access to the subdivision would be from Shingle Glen Trail via State Hwy 44. Two additional internal roads would be built to access some of the subdivision lots. An existing emergency fire escape road would extend from the western property line and connect the proposed subdivision to hwy 44 at an intersection located approx 0.7 mi west of Shingle Glen Trail. The proposed parcels would be serviced by individual septic systems and private wells.
