Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2018-0152-R1, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code, to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Jackson Demonstration State Forest, represented by Robert Horvat. The project is limited to 12 encroachments across Class II and Class III watercourses. The project includes removing failed or failing culverts along Forest Road 810 and replacing these culverts with appropriately sized culverts for 100 year flood flows. The project will excavate fill over the pipes, remove and dispose of existing pipes, and replace the falling culverts with newer culvert pipes at stream grade. Clean fill material will be placed over the culvert and compacted. The inlet and outlet slopes will be protected with 6" and 12" diameter size rip rap. The roadway over the crossing willbe re-rocked and compacted and graded for proper drainage.
