Document Description
Hold the annual 4th of July firework show at the Lake Oroville State Recreation Area's Thermalito North Forebay due to the construction near the Spillway Boat Launch. To prepare for the expected crowd at the North Forebay, Parks will:
- Mow extra field areas for additional viewing locations;
- Establish additional overflow parking west of the Aquatic Center Building;
- Provide an ADA parking lot in the in-route camping area;
- Create a restricted area around fireworks launch pad, adjacent to diversion channel;
- Allow manual powered vessels in the waters of the North Forebay for viewing; and
- Allow food trucks and vendors to set up in the overflow parking lot near Aquatic Center.
