Document Description
The purpose of this proposed action is to improve the quality of water at the Livermore Site through the implementation of an onsite chloramine disinfection system located at the Sandia tanks operated by LLNL. DOE NNSA needs water from the Sandia tanks supply to meet its requirements for potable water that is also suitable for water cooling tower use. This EA evaluates the potential for significant impacts resulting from implementation of the proposed action, within the context of the No Action Alternative (i.e., status quo alternative). This ES also considers cumulative impacts likely to result from implementation of the proposed action.
