Document Description
The DGS will provide design and construction of the DMV Access Barrier Removal project in Yuba City. Design and construction includes repair of thresholds and to adjust pressure or replacement of door closure at entrances; increase the width of hallways; relocate plumbing fixtures and restroom accessories and relocate the door in public restrooms; replace existing water cooler with hi-low fixtures; replace base cabinets and the countertop to provide below sink knee space in break room; replace existing door, tactile and egress signs; correct excessive slopes of walkways; and install curb ramps in existing walkway, repair walkway slopes, new stripping and signs at accessible parking spaces.
