Document Description
2D-36B Facility Expansion: CREH proposes to expand the 2D-36B Facility to build a produced water filtration facility. Project is located in Tier 1 areas and will be located within the existing 2D-36B production facility, but will require new disturbance (less than one acre) on the east side of the facility. CREH is the surface and mineral owner. Additional project details: the expanded facility will allow CREH to improve water management within the BV Hills and Elk Hills Oilfields. The filtered water will be pressured up to current injection system pressure by a new injection water pump and discharged into a new 8" water injection header. Project equipment list includes: 2 set of produced water pumps; 1 Induced Gas Flotation Cell (IGF) with Two recirculation pumps: 1 Transfer pump (if needed); 1 Nut Shell Filter; 2 Injection Water Tanks (API12F - 750 bbls); 2 Back Wash Tanks (APl12F - 750 bbls); 1 set of booster pump; 1 set of Injection Pump; 1 Transformer; and Upgrade IA and VRU System (if needed). See attached site plan and engineering sketch. Project activities will take 4 to 6 weeks to complete and will require approx. ten employees and/or contractors to complete the work.
