Document Description
The project consists of testing the functionality of Iron gate Dam's low level outlet slide gate as required by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and as directed by the California Department of Water Resources' Division of Safety of Dams. The applicant plans to test Iron gate Dam's low level outlet slide gate to encure the slide gate is fully operational. Iron gate Dam's low level outlet is comprised of a 5-foot tall slide gate connected to ta 16-foot diameter tunnel that extends 20 feet before intersecting a flange gate. The tunnel continues past the flange gate for an additional 575 feet and discharges to the Klamath river.
