Document Description
CDFW has executed Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2018-0023-R3, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to Caltrans. Caltrans proposes to replace the existing and structurally deficient bridge and slightly realign and widen the ramp to meet Caltrans standards. The existing and structurally deficient bridge and slightly realign and widen the ramp to meet Caltrans standards. The new bridge will be a two-span, precast/pre-stressed, voided slab bridge and the spans will be approx. 60 feet long. The new bridge will consist of 42 cast-in-steel-shell (CISS) piles. Project elements include installing a new sidewalk to the existing sidewalk north and south of the bridge, installing temporary detour bridge, installing new sheet piles, installing temporary pavement for rerouting traffic to the temporary detour bridge, removing existing bridge and replacing with two-span precast concrete bridge, widening pavement, installing precast voided slabs, repairing/resurfacing the existing roadway as needed and conducting revegetation.
