Document Description
Repair the North Grove Extra Vehicle Parking Lot between campsites 30 and 33 in Calaveras Big Trees State Park to repair damage caused by flooding during the 2017 storm season. The proposed work will:
Bring Washed Native rocks from the Maintenance yard to reinforce the end of the parking lot behind large log serving as a retaining wall;
Truck in approx. 20 yards of road grade gravel to replace the parking lot surface;
Grade, level and compact the material; and
Create a gentle slope towards the west end of the lot to prevent water from pooling.
