Document Description
Birds and raccoons are getting into the current regular trashcans and causing a mess. The project will install 30 new bear-proof type 2-bin trash/recycle boxes to prevent this from happening. A concrete foundation will be poured to mount the bear boxes and keep them securely in place. The concrete foundation will be 4' long 32" wide and 3" deep. 2" will be below the surface with 2 - 3/4" steel rebar rods driven into the ground about 12" down and then the top 2" of the rebar will be imbedded in the concrete foundation for stabilization. The trash/recycle boxes are ADA accessible.
