Pursuant to Division 14 of the California Vehicle Code, Transportation of Explosives, this project will remove 20.2 miles and extend 14.7 miles of currently designated highway routes in order to reduce the potential risks associated with the transportation of explosives and enhance the public safety in the Fresno area.
