Document Description
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) proposes to improve the pedestrian and bicycle facilities along State Route (SR) 120 from Ponderosa Lane/SR120 intersection to Tenaya Elementary School in Groveland, Tuolumne County. This project proposes to widen existing pavement to install class II bike lanes, construct new sidewalks and reconstruct existing curb ramps. The purpose of this project is to encourage increased use of active modes of transportation. The need for this project is to address adequacy of the existing pedestrian and bike paths, improve connectiveity and improve mobility access to everyday needs and services.
