Document Description
The Project is a Use Permit, Site Plan and Design Review, and Incentives for Affordable Housing Projects for an affordable rental housing project for military veterans and their families, on three parcels totaling 9.75 acres located at 711 and 9500 Oak Park Street, PANs 066-060-004, 007, and 021. Six acres on the west side of the site would be developed. The project site includes wetlands, flood plain, sensitive plant species, and oak trees. The Project was designed to avoid and minimize impacts to these resources. The Project includes 60 units, 59 units for veterans with incomes of 0-50% of Sonoma County median income and one manager's unit. The development includes: 1) 12 two-bedroom one-story apartments; 2) 48 one-bedroom apartments in two story buildings; 3) 4,000 sq. ft. community building; 4) extension of Oak Park Street; 5) 70 onsite parking spaces; and 6) onsite amenities, landscaping and infrastructure improvements.
