Document Description
Remove seedlings, saplings, pole trees, and shrubs from medium and high priority grasslands in Sonoma Coast State Park in order to preserve medium and high priority grassland habitat. The goal is to treat 158 acres of high priority grassland and 2160 acres of medium priority grassland over 10 years. 60 to 120 acre areas will be treated annually in October through December. Mechanically removed materials will be either scattered and left to decompose, piled for decomposition, or piled for burning depending on location and conditions.
