This is a request to establish and operate a composting facility consisting of approx 2,000 tons of cow manure, dry mixing material, and almond hulls from April thru August, with only a small amount of product stored on-site September thru March. The facility is expecting to generate 20+/- truck trips per month. The 14.5+/- acre site is currently improved with two single-family dwellings serviced by private septic and well facilities. Proposed access to the composting facility is from W. Glenwood Ave.
