Document Description
The Intelligent Lighting Pilot Program is a three-month trail program to install 23 sensor nodes on existing streetlight fixtures located along N. Harbor Drive generally between Laurel Street and G Street. The purpose of the projgram is to create a network of sensors that provide real time date on traffic movements and parking behavior to inform public safety and to better understand mobile ad pedestrian activity in the area. Each node would be equipped with a camera and two microphones, as well as sensors for environmental inputs such as temperature, pressure and vibration.
