Document Description
CAL FIRE is planning maintenance activities on existing unpaved roads at the CAL FIRE Academy in Ione, CA. The intent of the project is to keep roads and drainage features functioning properly and thereby prevent degradation to the surrounding environment. The unpaved road network in the project area consists of approx 3.5 miles of native-surface and graveled roads that are within an area of approx 115 acres within the Academy property boundary. The roads provide access for various training activities, as well as for land and facility maintenance purposes.
