Document Description
The project consists of a grant to demonstrate the use of satellite interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) to observe and characterize surface deformation in geothermal fields. The proposed project will monitor surface deformation in geothermal fields in southern California (Salton Sea, North Brawley, and Heber) and eastern California (Coso), and show how surface deformation and induced seismicity data can help geothermal reservoir assessment and management.
