Document Description
The project is replacing two existing antennas with new satellite service antennas on the roof of 1615 Capitol Avenue. The satellite service is part of the Emergency Preparedness communication redundancy for the Medical and Health Coordination Center (MHCC) and the CDPH Directors Office in case of an event that eliminates or limits normal communication modalities. The project components include mini stick antenna, junction box, and power/telephone cables; it will use the existing poles and mounts and the new antenna is of similar height. The existing rooftop solar panel structure appears like a parapet wall screening or enclosing the equipment from surrounding view.
