The proposed project involves the transfer of funds from the San Diego Unified Port District's (District) Major Maintenance Capitol contingency for an interior remodel of the District Administration-Annex building located in San Diego, California. The remodel involves modifying existing office areas, kitchen, conference rooms, restrooms, and hall areas, which includes demolishing, disposing, and replacing walls, adding restroom and kitchen facilities, upgrading utilities infrastructure, and other associate improvements. The remodel would not expand the foot print of the exisitng building. Construction for the remodel is anticipated to commence in November 2016 and completed by January 2017.
