Document Description
The proposed action involves the construction of a new C1 powerline and poles followed by the subsequent removal and/or partial abandonment of the existing lines and poles. The existing C1 power line is approximately 8.4 miles in length with 241 wooden power poles going off road over relatively undisturbed areas, in several locations. For the B3 line, the proposed action would replace, in several phases, the existing electrical line, wooden poles and related structures originally installed in the early 1950's. For the B3 line, the proposed action would replace the existing 12 kV B3 Feeder starting from substation B, Building 7315, and continuing on overhead poles and underground conduit and cable to building 1605 toward the end of the airport.
