Document Description
The project involves removal of the compressed natural gas fueling system and all associated equipment at the State garage. The project also consists of repair and maintenance of the containment system under five fuel dispensers. If concrete is removed to perform the repairs, the concrete will be replaced to match the existing slope to provide for proper drainage. If soil contamination related to the fueling system is discovered, the project may also include removal of up to 50 tons of contaminated soil. If contamination is more extensive, the remediation will be considered a separate action for purposes of CEQA. Any removal action will comply with applicable state and local environmental permitting requirements.
