Document Description
The project proposes to renovate two existing buildings to provide a mix of retail and commercial uses, including artisan work space, a cafe, an artist in residence space and upgrade parking, pedestrian access and site improvements. No changes are proposed to the Arroyo Corte Madera del Presidio creek that traverses the site nor to existing trees. The two main buildings would be raised above the level of the adjacent Miller Avenue to a finished floor elevation of 46-48 ft. that would exceed FEMA BFE elevation requirements of 43.4-46.6 ft. No changes to the building footprints are proposed. These buildings would be renovated to bring interior space to modern code compliance and adapt them for contemporary commercial space.
