Document Description
Project is limited to maintenance of the Hudeman Slough Enhancement Wetlands, which are maintained by a system of levees, channels and tide gates that direct the flow of freshwater runoff, reclaimed water releases from reservoirs, and restrictions of brackish tidal water from Hudeman Slough, a tidal tributary linking Sonoma Creek and the Napa River. Activities within the jurisdiction of this agreement include the servicing of tide gates that regulate the flow out of the management units. Three tide gates and one valve require servicing. Proposed service activities include the repair and replacement of existing riprap around the gates and removal of sediment and debris that are clogging them. an estimated 4 cubic yards fo sediment will be removed from around each tide-gate. Rip rap shall be limited to the replacement of maximum 4 cubic yards per tide-gate. All materials and equipment will be staged from the levee road adjacent to the gate. Issuance of a Streambed Alteration Agreement No. 1600-2014-0347-3 is pursuant to Fish and Game Code Section 1602.
