Lagunitas Creek Bridge

Note: Extended Review per lead Caltrans proposes to replace the current bridge crossing Lagunitas Creek with a new bridge. The current bridge will be removed and a the new bridge will be built in the same location. The new bridge design will be one of four design alternatives a 3-span steel trussel bridge, a 1-span steel trussel bridge, a concrete girder bridge, or a suspension bridge. The new bridge designs will not increase the current traffic capacity of SR 1 in this location. A cofferdam will be used to divert water within the creek for work being done in the creekchannel. A temporary bridge detoure route is being proposed for traffic management during construction. This temporary bridge will either be a 2-span bridge or a 3-span bridge.
