Document Description
CDFW is executing a Streambed Alteration Agreement (Agreement) pursuant to Section 1602 (SAA # 1600-2014-0122-R6) of the Fish and Game Code to the Permittee, the Mono County Dept. of Public Works, represented by Mr. Garrett Higerd, P.O. Box 457, Bridgeport, CA 93517. The June Lake Road Rehabilitation Project includes the pulverization and removal of existing asphalt roadways and the installation of new asphalt and ribbon gutters along 7.8 miles of roadway within the unincorporated community of June Lake. The Streambed Alteration Agreement is being issued to address impacts from 14 culvert replacements and associated headwall construction (Project). Five (5) 30-inch culvert pipes will be replaced with 36-inch culvert pipes, three (3) 18-inch culvert pipes will be replaced with 27-inch culvert pipes, and six (6) culvert pipes will be replaced with in-kind culvert pipes. The project will result in permanent impacts to 0.017 acres of vegetated CDFW-jurisdictional streambed. The project will have a minimal impact to the environment: no temporary impacts will occur; ingress and egress will utilize existing roadways; no mature riparian or woody vegetation will be removed during Project activities; and no Species of Special Concert, threatened, or endangered species are known to be present in the Project area.
