Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Wildlife is issuing a permit to Carol W. Witham pursuant to Fish and Game Code section 2081(a) for a project to reestablish populations of Crampton's tuctoria (Tuctoria mucronata) in Olcutt Lake at the Jepson Prairie Preserve in Solano County. Project activities include collectiong seed (in the form of whole plants) from the Davis Communications Annex (donor site) and reintroducing it to Olcott Lake (introduction site). Collections will be made in the late fall before the first major rain shatters aht plants. The seeds will be collected in 2014 if timing and population size permit. If not, the seed collection will be postponed until 2015.
