Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) has issued an emergency permit to Gilead Sciences Inc. (Gilead) to treat hazardous waste by chemical stabilization in containers.
It has been determined that the containers containing the compounds may be highly reactive and must be stabilized prior to being transported offsite.
