Ishi Camp Grease Trap Project
NOE - Notice of Exemption
The Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB) regulator inspected Ishi Camp on December 17, 2013 and noted that the grease trap capacity was below industry standards and did not meet the requirements of discharge order #97-10-DWQ. Cal Fire is required to inform the RWQCB by April 30, 2014 how it will mitigate the issue. Cal Fire proposed to remove an existing 300 gallon underground tank and replace it with a new 3,000 gallon underground tank to comply wth the RWQCB's discharge order. The tank will be placed 10 feet form the location of the existing tank in line with the current sewer discharge line.
