The existing Brooks Creek Bicycle Path is surfaced with decomposed granite. The Town desires to resurface the high-traffic portion of this path with asphalt to increase durability, reduce maintenance needs and conform to its Bicycle Master Plan. The approximately 450 feet long, 10-foot wide path would be repaved in the existing alignment and would not otherwise change existing use of the pathway.
The project consist of replacing approximately 450 feet of decomposed granite with asphalt paving at an existing bicycle path. The project does not include any expansion of use or capacity and is within a disturbed area.
