- Document Description
- The proposed Project is designed to replace the existing bridge on Road 600 at the Madera Canal. A two-phased replacement of the bridge over the Madera Canal and improvements to the road approaches on either side of the bridge. The Project will include demolition of the existing bridges in stages, construction of new abutments, railings, and the bridge deck. The new bridge will be located on the existing alignment within County right-of-way, and will employ a single-span, precast voided slab design such that falseworks in the canal bed will not be necessary. Approximately 125 feet of Road 600 from the center of the bridge will be widened and resurfaced.
