Document Description
Pelger Mutual Water Company (PMWC), proposes to temporarily transfer to San Luis and Delta Mendota Water Authority (SLDMWA) a total of 1,522 acre-feet of water made available by pumping groundwater in lieu of diverting surface water. PMWC has petitioned for, and the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) has approved, a change in the place of use of the transfer water. PMWC's Point of Transfer will be Sacramento River Mile 111.72 on the Sacramento River. The transfer water will flow down the Sacramento River to the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta, where it will be pumped by DWR at SWP Banks Pumping Plant and conveyed to SLDMWA's service area.
