Document Description
The California Department of Toxic Substance Control (DTSC), pursuant to authority granted under Chapter 6.8, Division 20, section 25323.1 and 25356.1 of the Healthy and Safety Code (H&SC) is considering approval of a Removal Action Workplan (RAW) for the Chowchilla High School Expansion Site as submitted on April 17, 2012, by Chowchilla Union High School District. The RAW addresses a parcel of land adjacent to the existing Chowchilla High School where shallow soils are impacted by several chamicals of concern (COC) including aldrin, dieldrin chlordane and 4,4-DDT (chlorinated pesticides, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), mineral oil, and lead.
