Document Description
The project funds work activiites for onsite visitor services along with the narmal operations and maintenance activities required to sustain OHV recreation opportunities. Work activities in this project include maintenance of the 27 mile long perimeter barrier, several miles of internal protective fencing (roads, Joshua trees, mines and cultural sites), 2 miles of paved road, 12 miles of maintained dirt roads, an 18- and 13- mile signed loop trail trail, a 14-mile signed interpretive trail, 10-vault toilets, and hundreds of various types and size signs. Wildlife biologist and soil specialist will perform project monitoring and prepare updates to the soil and HMP plans.
