Document Description
The Closure Plan focuses on collection and analysis of soil and soil gas samples to determine volatile organic compound (VOC) concentrations. Evaluation of the new VOC data in conjunction with the results of previous investigations for inorganic and organic compounds will be used to determine if previously completed closure activities at the former plating room and wastewater treatment system areas have achieved regulatory performance standards. It is anticipated that the closure will meet industrial use standards and a Land Use Convenant (LUC) will be recorded on the property deed to prohibut "sensitive" uses, such as residential, day-care, schools, or health care facilities.
