The proposed project will involve the installation of a shade structure, constituting a minor addition to an existing school within existing school grounds. The addition will not increase original student capacity by more than 25% or 10 classrooms. Operation of the new facilities will not significantly increase the intensity of use of the existing school site. The project is not subject to any of the exceptions to exemption set forth in CEQA Guidelines section 15300.2. The project will not involve the use of significant amounts of hazardous substances.
