Document Description
Electrical Switching Station 6 includes the construction of a 4,200 gsf facility (2,100 sf footprint) with one level above and one level below grade to accommodate electrical equipment. In addition to the facility, 2,500 linear feet of underground electrical conduit and cable (duct banks) will be installed from the switching station to the California Memorial Stadium and to the Hearst Mining Circle area. The purpose of the project is to provide full redundancy to campus electrical infrastrucure and system capacity for dedicated power delivery to high-demand campus buildings including Stanley Hall, Sutardja Dai Hall, and California Memorial Stadium.
