The City of Albany (CITY) proposes to approve a purchase agreement to acquire a 4.45 acre parcel currently owned by the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) covering an area near Interstate 80 that formerly contained a freeway offramp. The property is contained within the Cleveland Avenue area of the City of Albany's Cleveland Avenue/Eastshore Highway Redevelopment Area. The parcel is vacant and no present plans exist for the use of the parcel.
