Document Description
Grossmont Union High School District proposes to construct and operate a new performing arts complex (82,000 square feet) and perform various modernization activities at Mt. Miguel High School. The new performing arts complex would replace the existing tennis courts and hard courts area, as they would be relocated to the north. The proposed project would not increase the capacity of the existing school. Various modernization activities would include converting classrooms from one use to another and repaving existing parking lot. The proposed project would not modify the existing internal circulation patterns or student drop-off zone. Development of the performing arts complex would be funded by local bond measures and the Career Technical Education (CTE) grants would be used to modernize existing facilities.
