Document Description
This is a habitat restoration project for native amphilibians identified and approved in CA Dept. of Fish and Game Aquatic Biodiversity Management Plans. Fish and Game will remove non-native trout populations in selected waters by netting and electrofishing. Aquatic species directly benefitted include Sierra Nevada mountain yellow-legged frogs (Rana siemae) and Pacific treefrogs (Pseudacris regilla). Other native food web species will also benefit (i.e. birds, intertebrates, snakes).
