- The West Sacramento Bridge District Levee Access Road and River Walk Trail Project would develop a levee maintenance and flood-fighting access road, spanning 3,250 linear ft (0.6 miles) on top of the levee crown, from the south side of the Tower Bridge to the future Mill Street, north of US Highway 50. The proposed access road and off-road amenities would also serve as a recreational trail by allowing controlled use by bicyclists, pedestrians, and other recreationists. The proposed project is part of the Bridge District Specific Plan.
