Document Description
Project consists of the sale and transfer of 440 square feet of commercial floor area (CFA) rights from Conservancy-owned land to a receiving project on which a new alternative fueling center (Tahoe Biofuels) will be constructed. The transfer enables the receiving landowner to carry our the project without any net increase in the amount of existing commercial floor area rights in the Tahoe Basin.

The transfer of CFA will enable construction of a new above-ground fuel storage tank with dispensers, shop and office space, characterized as an in-fill development within the City limits on a parcel less than 5 acres surrounded by urban uses, that can be served by all required utilities and public services, which is categorically exempt under Class 32 (In-Fill Development Projects), Class 5 (Minor Alterations to Land Use Limitations), and Class 17 (Open Space Contracts).
