Document Description
The proposed project is to provide ADA improvements to City Hall, which was desginated as an historic landmark in 1990 and as a contributing resource in a Historic Preservation Overlay Zone 1999. The State Office of Historic Preservation indicated in 1986 that SHPO considered the Glendora City Hall, 116 East Foothill Boulevard as eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. Due to these historic classifications, and changes to the historic structure must be evaluated for potential impacts to an historic resource. Due to the fact that the project will use federal HUD/CDBG funding, 36CFR800 Section 106 requires the SHPO to be consulted for finding of "no adverse effect." The project has been submitted to SHPO for evalutation and concurrence on the determination of "no adverse effect."
