Document Description
Restore approximately five acres of Carmel River State Beach by planting native plant species where non-native plant species have been previoiusly removed. Grow seeds collected from native shrub, grass, and forb species within the park and install native plants in the restoration areas during the rainy season. Holes approximately 6 inches deep by 3 inches wide will be hand dug and immediately filles in with the plant plug and surrounding soil. DPR will not conduct planting in culturally sensitive areas and dPR archaeologist will monitor planting activities.
