The project consists of the clean up and remediation of an area covered by oil as a result of a blowout of an oil well. The project includes the removal of soil and vegetation using light and heavy machinery, hand cleaning vegetation and buildings, disposing waste materials, and repairing or replacing affected equipment.
The Department of Fish and Game (Department) has issued a California Endangered Species Act (CESA; Fish & G. Code Section 2050 et seq.).
