The project proposes to construct a 40 foot long access ramp and observation platform, construct a permanent concrete fish ladder, enhance one existing rock weir, protect a section of eroded streambank by placement of rock slope protection and construction of four log and boulder fish habitat enhancement structures, remove an earthen berm to enhance flood conveyance, construct three staircases at existing streambank trails, and plant approximately 16,000 square feet of riparian area on Freshwater Creek, Humboldt County.
