Document Description
Repair section of North Gate Road and the road shoulder compromised as a result of a landslide that occurred during winter storms in 2006. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has provided funding for this project. The road section in need of repair is 150 feet long. Excavate the roadway and shoulder including 750 cubic yards of unstable material. To stabilize the roadway, install subdrainage, engineered fill and Tensar Geogrid along the roadway and apply a three-inch asphalt concrete layer over 11 inches of aggregate base.
