Document Description
Using only state funds the Calfiornia Department of Transportation will place rock slope protection (RSP) at the toe of an eroded embankment of State Creek adjacent to State route 3 in Trinity County. The creek is undermining the bank that supports the highway in Tannery Gulch. Construction will occur from the roadway pull out at PM 42.2 down the 40ft. embankment to the creek. Approximately 48 cubic yards of 1/2-ton RSP will be placed along a 60-foot long section of bank up to 7.5 feet high.
